You can find different rankings on different websites on the internet, however (i think) the most accurate is done by djmag.com. Why’s that? Because real people from the whole world can vote for their favorite DJ, so the results give you only what people really like. More then 123 thousand fans have voted this year, which is a quite big number! And of course Paul Van Dyke is the first on the list!

But don’t forget about the other vinyl pushers! For example at The DJ LIST the trophy belongs to a really good show maker - DJ Tiesto.
PvD got the crowd…like tiesto in past…therefore he is winner

I was on both, Tiesto in Bratislava(hall), PvD on Machac(open-air)
Here’s my opinion:
They play both VERY good music, but Tiesto has better PR(public relation-vztyk s verejnostou) people, to make him famous,
And yes tiesto focuses more on the visual par,and when u watch tiesto he tries to make contact with u(smiles, waves, jumps……) and i didnt see that much on PVD, So Id i had to vote in music, They r same, in the whole thing(audio+visual) tiesto, hope u understand, if not, ask
